C5 bar stool

Details:

The barstool was inspired by American architecture of the 1950s, in particular the so-called Googie architecture. It used parabolic shape and those that represent the speed and swiftness. Architecture critic Douglas Haskell noted that the buildings must appear to defy gravity, "...whenever possible, the building must hang from the sky". In C5 a metal seat is a central element, and it seemed to descend from the sky, resting on wooden legs.
